Hi, I’m Andrea

Writer • Wellness Enthusiast • Lifelong Learner • Nana

Thank you so much for visiting my little corner of the world!

I’m a woman in my 60s who believes vitality is about so much more than looking fit or trying to stay young. It’s about feeling well, having purpose, nurturing our body, mind and spirit—and creating a life that genuinely brings us joy.

My own journey has taken plenty of twists and turns, and somewhere along the way I discovered that some of the most meaningful chapters of our lives can begin when we least expect them.

I’m so glad you’re here.

My Journey to Vitality

Health, wellness and fitness have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. In my 20s, being healthy meant working out, eating well and—if I’m being truthful—probably looking good in a bathing suit too!

But life has a way of changing our perspective.

There were stressful seasons. Divorce. Raising children on my own. Remarrying and blending families. Beautiful experiences and tremendous blessings—but also seasons that took a toll on me physically and emotionally.

Now, in my 60s, I see vitality very differently.

I’ve learned that wellness isn’t about perfection or trying to stay young. It’s about caring for the whole person—body, mind and spirit—and creating a life that feels meaningful from the inside out.

Vitality became less about how I looked—and more about how I wanted to live.

Life These Days

A few years ago, life took another unexpected turn when we purchased an old school in the country and began transforming it into a home.

Today, we share this very unusual place with family and friends, surrounded by six acres, a growing orchard, a garden, children, dogs, cats and plenty of wildlife.

It can be noisy. It can be chaotic. And there is almost always something going on.

But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This chapter of my life has reminded me that vitality isn't only about taking care of our bodies. It's also about connection, laughter, purpose and creating a life we genuinely love living.

People gathered in a kitchen with white cabinets and a large island, participating in a meal or gathering, with some serving food and others seated at tables.

And somewhere in the middle of all this beautiful chaos, I get to be Nana.

Eight beautiful little souls call me Nana—five grandchildren and three “adopted” grandchildren—and I love every one of them. They are a huge part of what makes this season of life so special.

What Lights Me Up

I’ve always loved to learn. I’m one of those people who is happiest with a book in my hand, a course on the go, or something new to explore. I’m endlessly curious about wellness, the human body, our minds, our energy and the many ways we can support ourselves as we move through life.

Over the years, that curiosity has led me down many different paths. I’ve studied health and wellness, become a Reiki Master and Reflexologist, and continue to learn simply because I love it. And when I discover something that has helped me, I naturally want to share it with others.

But wellness is only one part of me.

I also love to write.

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of writing and illustrating children’s books. Today, I’m finally giving myself permission to follow that dream—along with writing stories that preserve pieces of my family history and the people I love.

I don’t write because I’m trying to be the perfect writer or artist. I write because it brings me joy. And if something I create makes another person smile, think, feel encouraged or see life a little differently, that makes it even more meaningful.

Learn. Create. Share. Keep becoming.

Still Becoming

I don’t have all the answers, and I’m certainly still learning. Maybe that’s one of the best things about this season of life—realizing we never have to stop growing, dreaming or becoming.

This little corner of the internet is where I share the things that matter to me: wellness, writing, family, faith, creativity and the everyday moments that make a life.

My hope is that something you find here encourages you to take care of yourself, try something new, follow a dream you may have tucked away—or simply appreciate the life you’re living right now.

Because I believe vitality is about so much more than being healthy.

It’s about being fully alive.

And I’m so glad you’re here. ❤️
